• Designed for women by women.
• Gore-Tex two layer fabric which is highly breathable, waterpoof and windproof. A waterproof membrane forms the inner layer which is laminated to a durable plain weave polyester on the outer face which provides protecion. A silky smooth nylon Taffeta lining together with a polyester mesh lining across the back provides protection for the Gore-Tex membrane on the inside. Also the mesh lining enhances the vaporisation of perspiration, aiding breathability to give greater comfort and less claminess during exercise.
• Fully taped seams with durable seam tape ensure full waterproof protection.
• Designed for walking and hiking, this jacket has a back length of 70cm for size 12 with enough room for winter layering.
• The sleeves are designed so there is no seam on top of the shoulders which could cause discomfort when carrying a rucksack.
• Articulated sleeves with pre-bent arms ensure easy movement.
• Slight drop tail for butt protection at the back and unrestricted leg movement at the front.
• Lightweight at only 453 g (16 oz) for size 12.
• YKK zips used throughout.
• Two zipped side pockets with water resistant zips and mesh lining give cross ventilation when the zips are open. The bottoms of the pockets are made with tough nylon taffeta to help prvent holes from forming after periods of prolonged wear. The pockets are postione high to allow access when wearing a rucksack.
• A napoleon style chest pocket with velcro fastening is accessed under the storm flaps. This cavernous pocket is large enough for an OS map.
• Internal chest pocket on the left side with velcro top fastening has a nice Taffeta lining and is safe from rainwater so its an excellent location for your mobile phone.
• Full length YKK front zip with two overlapping external storm flaps held in place by velcro with press studs top and bottom.
• Cuffs are part elasticated on the inside with Velcro adjustment tabs to keep out the drafts. These tabs can be used easily when wearing gloves or mitts.
• The bottom hem has an elasticated draw cord front and back. There is a toggle on each side at which the elastic can be tightened with one hand to keep out the drafts.
• A Quality Adjustable Hood can be rolled away into the collar using press studs and velcro fastenings when not in use to give a neat finish.
• The hood has a reinforced wired peak to keep out driving rain. The hood also features an excellent system for adjusting the elasticated draw cord around the face aperture. A hidden toggle can be held down between finger and thumb whilst the elasticised cord is adjusted, fabric guides prevent the cord from being whipped into your face by the wind.
• The volume adjuster at the back of your head allows the hood to be clamped in place so the hood turns with you as you turn your neck from side to side giving all round vision.
• Chin guard with beardguard trim (similar to micro-fleece) on the internal storm flap gives excellent comfort on your face. This stops your beard or skin from being caught in the zip.
• The whole collar is lined with micro-fleece at the back to give a soft comfortable feel against your neck
• There is a hang loop at the back.

• Please fasten all zips before washing.
• Wash dark colours seperately.
• Machine wash in warm water at 30C/86F with Nikwax Tech Wash or Grangers equivalent.
• Alternatively you can hand wash in Dreft.
• DO NOT use fabric softeners or bleach.
• Never dry clean.
• Rinse.
• Re-proof with the appropriate Nikwax or Grangers product if necessary.
• Drip dry or tumble dry on a cool setting.
• Cool iron on the outside only using a covering cloth.
