Sprayway Torridon Gore-Tex Jacket with Hood.
A full specification three layer Gore-Tex Waterproof hiking jacket engineered from eco friendly PFCec FREE recycled 75 Denier plain weave polyester. The material allows your perspiration to escape efficiently and easily so you can stay dry and comfortable during hiking activities. This jacket is a technically improved and updated version of the original ground breaking Torridon from the 1990's. The top quality, wire peaked, hood with full volume adjustment allows the hood to be clamped to your head so it turns with you allowing good all round visibility. There is also a neat fold away feature. An internal zipped chest pocket is good for keeping your phone dry. A second stretch mesh intenal stash pocket comes in handy. Two very large zipped hand pockets with storm flaps and map shelves. Also, the pockets are postioned high enough, out of the way of rucksack straps. A DWR Durable Water Repellant surface finish ensures the surface fabric does not wet out to give excellent breathability in wet conditions when hiking. A full length two way front zip gives easy access to your undergarments. Two way zips under your armpits give extra ventilation. Adjustable split hem drawcords help to keep out the drafts. Another concealed drawcord around the waist helps to stop cold air going up your back.

Fit: The Sprayway Torridon is shaped with a nod to the original version, which was always a little roomier than a standard hill jacket. This style is predominantly aimed at the mountain walker/Munro bagger, who may at times wear an insulation piece beneath (the Torridon will comfortably accommodate such a layer). You can easily fit three layers plus a down jacket under a Torridon plus more besides. If you don't want this I suggest selecting one size smaller than your usual.
Suggested Uses: Hiking, hill walking, mountain trekking, backpacking, camping and general use in wet weather.
Fair Wear Foundation: All sprayway garments are produced to the standards set by the Fair Wear Foundation.
