• The New Improved Hydro-Dry fabric is waterpoof, windproof and Extra Breathable with a new impressive Hydrostatic Head of 20,000 mm which ensures excellent waterproof performance over a prolonged life. The waterproof, breathable middle layer is protected by a hard wearing, plain weave 70 denier Taslan polyester on the outer face and a polyester mesh combined with a tough nylon taffeta lining on the inside.
• The outer surface of the material is treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) surface treatment. This helps to prevent the surface of the material from wetting out when it rains and therefore enables perspiration vapour to escape from the inside even when its raining.
• Fully taped seams with durable seam tape ensures full waterproof protection.
• Designed for walking and hiking, this jacket has a back length of 77cm for size M with enough room for winter layering.
• Inter-Active (I.A.) with internal zip so a Santiago I.A. Fleece or an extra warm Sprayway Gifford IA Fleece can be zipped inside during cold weather.
• Drop tail for butt protection at the back and unrestricted leg movement at the front.
• Raglan sleeves for easy movement with no seams on top of your shoulders to give excellent comfort when carrying a heavy rucksack.
• Weight is 636 gms (1 lb 6.4 oz) for size Medium which is less than the weight of a bag of sugar.
• Two zipped side pockets with a durable tricot micro fleece / nylon taffeta combination lining. Both pocket zips are protected by a double storm flap to keep out the rain.
• Cavernous Napoleon style chest pocket, big enough for an ordnance survey map or two or three with room to spare.
• Two Way full length reversed front zip with double external storm flaps.
• Cuffs have Velcro adjustment tabs to keep out the drafts. These tabs can be used easily when wearing gloves or mitts.
• The bottom hem has an elasticated draw cord front and back. There is a toggle on each side where the elastic can be tightened to keep out the drafts.
• Hood with wired peak attached which can be rolled away using a velcro tab when not in use.
• The hoods reinforced wired peak keeps out driving rain. The hood also features an excellent system for adjusting the elasticated draw cord around the face aperture. A toggle can be held down between finger and thumb whilst the elasticised cord is adjusted, fabric guides prevent the cord from being whipped into your face by the wind.
• The velcro volume adjuster at the back of your head enables the hood to be adjusted to give the optimum vision / protection from rain combination.
• Chin guard with beardguard trim (similar to micro-fleece) at the top of the internal storm flap gives excellent comfort on your face. This stops your beard or skin from being caught in the zip.
• Sprayway embroidered logo, a great sign of quality.

• Machine wash in warm water at 30C/86F with Nikwax Tech Wash or Grangers equivalent.
• Alternatively you can hand wash in Dreft.
• Rinse.
• Renew the DWR with the appropriate Nikwax or Grangers product if necessary.
• Drip dry.
• DO NOT use fabric softeners or bleach.
• Never dry clean.
• Cool iron only
